Jesteśmy w Kolonii. Klinika jest w centrum miasta na Tulpicher Platz. Poznaliśmy już świetnie komunikację, zwiedziliśmy ogromną katedrę i zoo, a zaraz startujemy do muzeum czekolady. Od poniedziałku do piątku musieliśmy się codziennie stawić na leczenie, ale sobotę i niedzielę mamy wolną.
Zanim Jasiu rozpoczął terapię, przeczytaliśmy na jej temat chyba wszystkie dostępne artykuły i i dyskutowaliśmy jej przebieg ze specjalistami. Ale dopiero cały zeszły tydzień pokazał jak to wszystko wygląda. Immunoterapia polega na wszczepieniu specjalnie wyhodowanego wirusa, który powoduje infekcję najpierw całego organizmu a potem koncentruje się na komórkach rakowych. Dodatkowo Jasia głowa nagrzewana jest pod specjalną lampą, tak aby fale elektromagnetyczne wywołały dodatkowy, sztuczny efekt infekcji w okolicach guza. Codziennie Jasiu przechodzi właśnie takie nagrzewanie, ma pobieraną krew ( czasem bardzo dużo), a następnie ma wstrzykiwanego wirusa. Raz nawet doktor pozwolił mu wstrzyknąć go sobie sam!

We’re in Cologne with Jasiu for couple of days already. The clinic is at Tulpicher Platz just in center of the city. We sorted out the transportation quite well and isited a huge cathedral and the zoo. Soon We will see the chocolate museum. Monday to Friday We had to go to treatment every day, but the weekend is all for us.
Before Jasiu started the therapy We read all the available articles on it and discussed its course with multiple specialists. Only the whole last week showed how it all looks. Immunotherapy involves the implantation of a specially bred virus that causes infection first to the whole organism and then focuses on cancer cells. In addition, Jasiu’s head is heated under a special lamp, so that the electromagnetic waves cause an additional, artificial, effect of infection in the area of the tumor. Every day, Jasiu is being heated up, has some blood drawn (sometimes even quite much), and then has is injected with the virus. Once even the doctor let Jasiu inject himself!
